AI motion videos, without Higgsfield.
Actus Motion is a free Claude Code skill. Describe the video in one sentence; Claude picks a real reference, writes the storyboard, animates it as code and checks its own render. It is the exact workflow behind our videos.
Get it on GitHubWhat it does, in 6 steps
The same 6 steps as the video, in the order they run.
The video, 46s. Made with this skill.
- Step 1 of 6
Describe the video in one sentence
"A six-second logo reveal for Reels" is enough. The skill asks at most four questions, in one go, and decides the rest itself.
- Step 2 of 6
Claude loads the skill and your brand
Your logo, colours and fonts live in a brand folder you fill in once. Every piece after that is on-brand without you saying so.
- Step 3 of 6
It picks a real reference
One piece from Motionographer that matches the job. It learns the motion from it: timing, easing, how the object enters and leaves.
- Step 4 of 6
It writes the storyboard
Every beat gets a time and a reason. You read a one-page card, not code, and change your mind before anything renders.
- Step 5 of 6
It writes the animation as code and renders every format
Deterministic code, so the same brief gives the same video. 9:16, 1:1 and 16:9 come out of one run.
- Step 6 of 6
It checks its own render
It watches the output against a short list of motion rules (nothing frozen, one accent, no slams) and fixes what fails before you see it.
Install it in one line.
Run it in a terminal, then follow the three steps below.
git clone https://github.com/nakanorodriguespedro-beep/actus-motion-skill ~/.claude/skills/actus-motion
- Step 1Copy the command above and run it in a terminal. It puts the skill where Claude Code looks for skills.
- Step 2Open the brand folder inside it and drop in your logo, colours and fonts. One time; every video after that is on-brand.
- Step 3In Claude Code, type /actus-motion and describe the video in one sentence. The first render takes about a minute (the 3D path downloads a browser the first time, so allow a few more).
What is in the repo
The skill file
The whole workflow as instructions Claude Code follows, from brief to filed render.
A brand folder template
Logo, palette and fonts go in once.
The reference step
How it chooses a Motionographer piece and what it takes from it.
The storyboard card format, so every beat has a time and a reason.
The render engines
A Python engine for logo reveals and title cards, and a Remotion + three.js starter, the engine used in the video.
The self-check
The motion rules the render is graded against.
The 3D path also needs Node 18+. The README lists the details per render engine.
